US Track and Field Star Smashes World Record - Again!
Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone** of Team USA broke her own world record in the women's 400-meter hurdle at the Paris Olympics on Thursday. The 23-year-old clocked a time of 50.37 in the final, beating her previous best set at the Tokyo Games just three years ago. This is the sixth time she has lowered her own world record since June 2021. The race also resulted in a 1-2 sweep for USA as Anna Cockrell took the silver medal. This victory cements McLaughlin-Levrone's position as one of the greatest Olympians in the history of track and field.
