British Teen Diver's Olympic Dreams Crushed, But She's Proud Anyway
Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix, a 19-year-old British diver, missed out on a historic double medal win at the Paris Olympics. After winning bronze in the synchronized event, she finished 6th in the individual 10m platform. Despite the disappointing result, Spendolini-Sirieix is proud of her achievements, having overcome mental health struggles and a fear of diving earlier in the year. She missed out on landing Team GB's first Olympic medal in a women's individual diving competition since 1960, but her success in the synchronized event and at the Commonwealth and European Championships marks the biggest successes of her career so far. Spendolini-Sirieix will continue to strive for success in the sport, with high hopes for the future of her career
