Jens Lehmann's Chainsaw Troubles: A Summary
Jens Lehmann's Chainsaw Troubles
Ex-Arsenal and Germany goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has been in hot water recently due to a chainsaw incident. He was initially fined €420,000 ($470,000) for damaging his neighbor's garage with a chainsaw, but the fine was reduced to €135,000 ($150,700) on appeal. The incident is said to be part of a long-standing dispute over a blocked view. Lehmann has also been accused of avoiding payment of parking fees at Munich Airport, but he has now paid them. To make matters worse, his driver's license was confiscated earlier this week on suspicion of drunk driving.
