Russian forces launched attack drones on Ukraine on the evening of Thursday, 5 December.** The Ukrainian military warned of UAVs flying towards the cities of Vyshhorod and Kyiv, prompting a response from Ukrainian air defence units. Kyiv City Military Administration reported air defence responding in the capital shortly after 01:00, and later, Klitschko reported that wreckage from a downed Russian drone was found on a roadway in the Holosiivskyi district of the capital. There were no fires, damage to buildings or casualties, and the all-clear was given in Kyiv at 02:18.

With no end in sight to the conflict, it is clear that Ukrainian air defence units are on high alert and ready to respond to any further threats from Russian forces.
