Negotiations for Gaza Truce: 90% Agreed, Says US Secretary of State
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken** has urged Israel and Hamas to finalize a Gaza truce, stating that 90% of a deal is ready. The US would offer further ideas via Egypt and Qatar. Israeli Prime Minister Binjamin Netanyahu, however, denied this claim, saying it's 'not close'. Blinken repeated the assessment during a visit to Haiti. The truce negotiations include disagreements over Netanyahu's insistence on leaving some Israeli troops on the border between Gaza and Egypt.
