BREAKING: AZERBAIJAN AIRLINES PLANE CRASHES IN KAZAKHSTAN, POSSIBLE SURVIVORS
An Azerbaijan Airlines passenger jet flying from Baku to Grozny crashed in western Kazakhstan on Wednesday.
The Kazakh transport ministry said the plane made an emergency landing around two miles from Aktau, an oil and gas hub on the Caspian Sea.
There were 62 passengers and five crew members on the plane, and preliminary information suggests there may be survivors.
Crews are currently working to put out a fire at the crash site.
