Angel Reese's Historic Rookie Season Ends Early Due to Injury
Angel Reese, the Chicago Sky forward and WNBA Rookie of the Year candidate, has announced that she has suffered a season-ending wrist injury. Reese ends her first year as a pro averaging 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game, and had broken Sylvia Fowles' single-season rebound total. She was in a tight race for Rookie of the Year with Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever, who had a career-high 31 points in their final matchup of the season. Reese is expected to be a cheerleader on the sideline as the Sky fight for the final playoff spot.
