49ers' Ricky Pearsall Expected To Recover After Shooting During Attempted Robbery
San Francisco 49ers rookie Ricky Pearsall was shot during an attempted robbery, but is expected to make a full recovery.
Police were quick to respond and arrested the suspect. Pearsall was hit in the chest and hospitalized overnight, but was already back at the team facility on Monday.
The Niners placed Pearsall on the non-football injury list, which will sideline him for at least four weeks due to both the shooting and a shoulder injury that had been limiting him.
Despite the setback, General Manager John Lynch is optimistic about Pearsall's future with the team, saying, 'Ricky is going to be a fantastic player here.'
