In a remarkable discovery, the USS Edsall, a U.S. Navy destroyer sunk during World War II, has been found at the bottom of the Indian Ocean. The Royal Australian Navy made the find, confirming it on Veteran's Day in the U.S. and Remembrance Day in other parts of the world. The ship was lost with over 200 crew members in 1942 after a fierce battle with Japanese forces. The discovery is seen as a way to honor the fallen heroes, with U.S. Ambassador to Australia Caroline Kennedy stating, 'We will now be able to preserve this important memorial and hope that the families of the heroes who died there will know their loved ones rest in peace.'
