Ethel Kennedy, Widow of RFK, Recovering from Stroke as Family Rallies Around Her
Ethel Kennedy, the 96-year-old widow of Robert F. Kennedy and sister-in-law of JFK, is currently recovering from a stroke she suffered last week. Her grandson, former representative Joe Kennedy III, shared the news on X, saying that she is receiving the best care possible and is surrounded by family. Ethel, who founded the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights organization in 1968, is known for her involvement in various human rights organizations, including the Coalition of Gun Control. Her strength and resilience have earned her the Congressional Medal of Freedom in 2014. The Kennedy family has asked for privacy during this time as Ethel recovers.
