Duke Lacrosse Accuser Mangum Comes Clean About False Rape Allegations After 18 Years
Crystal Mangum, the woman who falsely accused three Duke University lacrosse players of rape in 2006, has publicly admitted to lying.*
Mangum, who is Black, made up the story about the white players because she wanted validation from people and not from God.*
She hopes the three falsely accused men can forgive her.*

The state attorney general's office concluded there was no credible evidence an attack ever occurred, and its investigation found no DNA, witness or other evidence to confirm Mangum's story.*

Mangum is currently incarcerated for fatally stabbing her boyfriend in 2011.*
